Couples couples couples. So many people telling me about how they are spending over $50 on their “significant others” for their Christmas presents. The way I see it, people shouldn’t expect the person they love to spend so much money on them just to show how much they care. If I was dating someone, I’d just be happy to go to a cheap fast food restaurant with him. Or walk in the park with him and look at the constellations and not even spend any money. Or just go to a local 7-11 and buy junk food with him. I wouldn’t even care about how much it costs, or how much money he has in the wallet in his back pockets. People nowadays are spending $60 on bouquets of roses, paying over $40 on extravagant fancy dinners, and buying their girlfriends $200 UGG boots for Christmas. 

If that were me… that stuff wouldn’t really matter. I’d just be happy to have someone that I can call my other half.
